Most photographers are always on the hunt for the so called “Golden Hour”, but this particular sighting made me realize all photographic opportunities don’t disappear the moment the sun sets. Just as the sun disappears over the horizon, the little light that is left takes on a cool tone and temperature, coating everything in a soft blue color. Leopards have a habit of only appearing after sunset and this sighting was no different. After tracking this cat for hours during the day, she finally came out after sunset, just in time for this blue hour portrait.
