I find the Oxpeckers a really interesting bird to photograph. I like to try and capture the relationship it has with all the mammal species on the reserve. Oxpeckers graze exclusively on the bodies of large mammals and feed off the ticks that these species pick up along the way. The mammals don’t seem to be bothered by them in the slightest.
