Right at the beginning of the Covid lockdown, I was staying helping on the lodge and reserve. One morning we went on an anti poaching patrol. It was about an hour before sunrise, when I saw this Flap-necked Chameleon in the spotlight. We went to have a look and saw that dew drops were glistening off him and it was shedding which made the scene even more interesting. I know that when reptiles shed, they are extremely sensitive and quite grumpy. This Chameleon really looked Grumpy. I had a friend side light the Chameleon with the spotlight, and used a very small aperture to have as much depth of field as possible to get the dew and the skin shedding, but at the same time being very sensitive to the chameleon.
