If ever there was a challenge, it was this photograph. Everyone takes pictures of crab spiders. “Vygies” are all over. In order to get something different, I took many shots with a wide angle and a very shallow DoF (less than 0.3mm) on ground level upwards, of this crab spider. I had to stack about 9 of them in order to get the DoF on his face while looking through the vygies leaves and to get the blue sky with some clouds in the background.
