Watching a troop of baboons is always fun, so much going on and different photo opportunities. Vertical panning is something I try when the opportunity arrives. In a big tree in Kruger I waited for them to start making their way down and as each individual descended I would pan and try numerous shutter speed. For me slower the better. There wasn’t really good light available as there is usually shade under a large tree so this style works well for me. I’ve chosen this image as I feel the flow and energy of the descending baboon
