Image taken on the Balule Road in Kruger in beautiful late afternoon light. We were driving to Olifants and came across a Honey Badger attacking a Mozambican Spitting Cobra. This is just one on the images I took as the encounter lasted about ten minutes. In the end, there was no winner and both snake and badger lived to fight another day. I love the position of the snake towering over the badger, with it’s full hood extended and the s-curve to its body, about to strike.
