A Southern Yellow Billed Hornbill was having a ball as it threw around a headless rodent. It was tossing and turning it like pizza dough while sometimes twirling it by the tail. Mainly an omnivore, these birds will eat small mammals but it is certainly not a common sight. It flew its prey to the lower branches of a tree allowing the unique parallel perspective seen in this image. Its unclear how the rodent lost its head, but the behaviour of the bird certainly took the focus away from that fact.
